Please join us for "Ma Lineal Coming Out Party: Book Reading & Celebration of Queer Elders"
We are so excited for an evening with Faith Holsaert and Alexis Pauline Gumbs to celebrate our past and our future. Faith will read from her new memoir "Ma Lineal: A Memoir of Race, Activism, and Queer Family" (Wayne State, 2024) and speak in conversation with a panel of queer elders born in the 1940s and 50s. Books available for sale and signing after the event. Kids welcome.
In the event of rain we will move the festivities inside.
