Ainara is seventeen, bright, a strong student with her whole future in front of her. Then she tells her family that she doesn't want to go to university — she wants to enter a convent as a cloistered nun. To Ainara it feels like a calling. To those around her it lands like a loss, or a mistake, or something darker: is this her own free choice, or is the Church drawing a grieving, motherless girl away from the world?
