Sunday Walk - 26 July - 'Go West of Leighton Buzzard' - 12 miles

This Sunday we have a long 12-mile walk from you, but it starts locally from Leighton Buzzard so most people won't need to travel far. This largely Bucks-based walk features Stewkley, Hollingdon and Soulbury and will involve several stiles and plank bridges.

ROUTE DESCRIPTION
A longer walk starting from Leighton Buzzard, heading over to Stewkley via Rock Lane. Lunch stop will be at Stewkley Recreation Ground. From there we walk to Hollingdon - expect the paths to be quite overgrown - before continuing on to Soulbury and over to Old Linslade past St Mary's Church and down to the Canal path back to Leighton Buzzard. There are some stiles on this walk in varying states of repair and one single plank sleeper bridge to navigate. Leader recommends long trousers and boots as some of the footpaths are 'challenging'!
