Volunteers meet every Sunday from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm to help restore our natural areas, earn service hours, and a great sense of fulfillment. Activities may include trail maintenance, invasive plant species removal, brush-cutting, seeding, planting, and much more! Tools provided. No registration required; groups larger than 5 should call ahead. Children less than 14 years old must be always accompanied by an adult. New faces welcome! Call the Nature Center at 312-744-5472 with any questions.
NOTE: There will be no workday Sun, Oct 20th due to Fall Festival
A signed waiver is required for volunteer opportunities with the Chicago Park District. Go to the Park District's volunteer web page (listed below) for more information and to sign a waiver electronically. In the waiver, at the "event name" box, please type "Volunteer Stewardship Workdays at NPV."
