Sunday Sunset Stroll On The Beach

Let's slow down and connect as we stroll on the beach at sunset!

This is an opportunity to practice presence, rather than plan action.

A time for deep listening, rather than problem-solving.

And a place to recognize the magnificent beauty and joy around us, even as we feel the impact of the chaos in our world.

Everyone is welcome to join, bring the whole family!

We'll check in as a group at the Rosecrans Lifeguard Tower, then stroll together while we watch the sunset. We'll close out as a group where we started our stroll.

We will meet 30 minutes before sunset. Please check your weather app as the time will vary throughout the year. For example, if the sun is expected to set at 6:47pm, we'll meet at 6:17pm. This way, we'll get to watch the setting of the sun and stay for the transformation of the sky as the colors continue to change and the sky begins to darken.

Please allow enough time to find parking and walk down to the beach. You might find free parking in the neighborhood, otherwise there are meters on Highland Ave., the garage at Rosecrans and Highland, and the El Porto Parking Lot, entrance at 45th Street.
