Violin -
Cyrus began his violin studies at the age of five, and has performed in Asia, Europe, and America as a soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician. Recent performances include the Brahms Violin Concerto and the Wieniawski Faust Fantasy with the Sewanee Festival Orchestra in the USA. Cyrus was also featured in a masterclass with Tasmin Little CBE. He has been awarded the ‘EYMT Norman Harper Prize’ and is supported with generous sponsorships by the Essex Young Musicians' Trust and the Brian and Julie Cue Trust.
Piano -
After her undergraduate studies in her native city, during which she was laureate of the CCA Artistic Excellence Award, Kwanyee earned her masters degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she studied with Lucy Parham. She has also played in masterclasses led by artists such as Ralf Gothóni, Robert McDonald, Nelson Delle-Vigne Fabbri, Michel Béroff, and Eugen Indjic.
Kwanyee has been broadcast on RTHK Radio 4 and has performed internationally at venues such as the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, St. James' Church Piccadilly, the Barbican Centre, Pałac Radziejowice, and Palazzo Chiaramonte Steri. More recently, she performed at the 2023 Gijón International Piano Festival, the 2024 Palermo Classica Winter Festival, and with the BBC Concert Orchestra in a rendition of Chopin's Piano Concerto No.2.
Cello - Wilbert Chan
Wilbert has participated in chamber music festivals in the USA, Italy, Germany, Austria, and Bulgaria. In recent years, he has also served as cellist in the Durham String Quartet, and principal cellist in the Durham University Orchestral Society. He has previously studied with Richard Bamping, Judith Serkin, and Josef Luitz. He has also played in masterclasses with Adrian Brendel, Jamie Walton, and Jonathan Aasgaard. He is currently a student of Professor Tim Lowe at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and his studies are generously supported by the Guildhall School Trust and Help Musicians.
