Sunday snack and skill share
Schedule
Sun Mar 15 2026 at 10:00 am to 11:30 am
UTC-03:00Location
4179 scotsburn road | Pictou, NS
We have invited a few regular folks from our community who are learning and jazzed up about small micro skills making their resilient journeys easier. Whether it be homesteading, permaculture, growing food, feeding our families well, fermenting or animal husbandry.... these folks would like to share a bit about their learnings.
One of the ways we can increase local food security and literacy is to share information and skills with each other. We don't have to have a masters in one area to learn and share. In fact, we often learn best thru our failures and when these are shared in community..... we become more resilient.
The SCFF will supply some warm drinks and snacks for these events. They are designed to be low key, informal, small attendance and sharing from the heart of our deeply personal experience. Each presenter will spend 20 minutes sharing a skill, technique or tool and then there will be time for Q and A or just a deeper dive together around the table.
