About this Event

Join the Sunday Shades World Ocean Day Project 2026 🌊

This year, Sunday Shades is teaming up with Zoda Collective and the Singapore Canoe Federation for a meaningful reservoir clean-up event — and you’re invited.

Back for our second edition, we’re calling on like-minded individuals and teams to come together for a day of action, community, and impact.

✨ What to expect:

Be the first to discover the limited edition Sunday Shades "Love the Ocean" 2026 series made from recycled plastic.
Discover Zoda Collective’s new apparel collection, along with fun insights into their sustainable designs.
Guided facilitation and support by the Singapore Canoe Federation

🏆 Friendly competition:
Take part in our clean-up challenge — the team that collects the most trash will walk away with:

2 x Sunday Shades sunglasses
Zoda’s latest apparel
Lola’s sustainable tumbler

Essentials - Packing list.

Hat/Cap
Water bottle
Extra set of clothing - Recommended long sleeves to protect from the sun.
Sunscreen
Set of dry clothing, toiletries and towel (There will be shower cubicles available)
Spectacle strap, if you are wearing your own spectacles.
Plastic bag/ziplock for wet clothing
Personal Medic*tion / inhaler (if applicable)
Sandals/ Aqua boots are recommended.

**DO COVER ALL OPEN WOUNDS WITH WATERPROOF DRESSING.

🚣‍♀️ Event Details to Note

Participants will be paired in teams of two per boat for the clean-up activity. A total of 15 boats, 30 participants will be deployed on the water.

📸 A dedicated photographer and videographer will be present throughout the event. By participating, you acknowledge that photos and videos may feature you and be used across our social media and marketing channels.

Spots are limited. Gather your team and be part of something bigger.

Light F&B is provided.

***OPEN ONLY FOR PEOPLE RESIDING IN SINGAPORE.

Wet Weather Plan: In the event of lightning or heavy rain, the event will be cancelled for safety reasons. If there is only light drizzle, the event will proceed as planned.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS:
I AM AWARE THAT KAYAKING AND ASSOCIATED WATER ACTIVITIES INVOLVE INHERENT RISKS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: DROWING, HYPOTHERMIA, PHYSICAL INJURY FROM EQUIPMENT OR COLLISIONS, EXPOSURE TO CHANGING WEATHER, WATER CURRENTS, AND SUBMERGED OBJECTS. I VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS.
MEDICAL FITNESS & SKILLS:
I CERTIFY THAT I AM IN GOOD HEALTH, PHYSICALLY FIT TO PARTICIPATE, AND HAVE NO MEDICAL CONDITIONS THAT WOULD LIMIT MY ABILITY TO SAFETLY ENGAGE IN THE EVENT. I FURTHER CONFIRM THAT I AM A COMPETENT SWIMMER AND WILL WEAR A PERSOAL FLOATATION DEVICE (PFD) AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON THE WATER.
RELEASE & WAIVER OF LIABILITY:
I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, AND DISCHARGE SUNDAY SHADES, ZODA AND SINGAPORE CANOE FEDERATION, ITS EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND AGENTS FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, OR CAUSES OF ACTION FOR PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF MY PARTICIPATION, WHETHER CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE.
INDEMNIFICATION:
I AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE ORGANISERS AGAINST ANY LOSS, LIABILITY, OR COST (INCLUDING LEGAL FEES) THEY MAY INCUR DUE TO MY PARTICIPATION OR ACTIONS DURING THE EVENT.
