SUNDAY SESSIONS: Dance & Yoga and /or Sound Bath

Welcome to SUNDAY SESSIONS: Somatic Dance and/or Sound Bath at St Austell Arts Centre! Join us for a transformative experience where you can either participate in a somatic dance/free movement or immerse yourself in a soothing sound bath - or do both! This event is the perfect opportunity to unwind, let go and rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit. Come as you are and let the music & sounds guide you towards inner peace as you get ready for the week ahead.

This month we welcome Ashlee Brett, experienced yoga practitioner and fellow gong bath facilitator. Following a shorter dance session, Ash invites you to be guided in a gentle, slow & passive yoga practice (suitable for beginners), incorporating simple breath work.

Expect double gong gorgeousness during the sound bath, as Ash will be providing sounds from her moon gong, with Jo using her wind gong (and the usual singing bowls). As we head into the new FLOWER MOON, this will be our guide, along with the fire of Beltane, and coming of summer.

Please note, sound therapy is not recommended for those in the first trimester of pregnancy, those with metal implants in the body, those with severe mental health conditions and those who have sound induced epilepsy. If you wear a hearing aid, it is recommended to switch it off during in the session.
