ELECTRONIQUE will be live at The Golden Lion Hotel Weymouth from 8 - 10.30pm on Sunday 6th October.
ELECTRONIQUE will be doing some covers and some original 1980s themed music.
Songs covered can include Soft Cell, Human League, Joy Division and New Order, Stranglers, Animotion, Belouis Some, Fun Boy Three, The Clash, ABC, Fiction Factory, Furniture, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Thompson Twins, Yazoo, Lightening Seeds, Japan, Stranglers, Kraftwerk, John Foxx, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, Nik Kershaw, Billy Idol - you get the idea!
But the good news is more songs are being added all of the time: look out for the Korgis, Adam and the Ants, Bowie, The Human League and Spandau Ballet - plenty more to do / bring in but each set will be different / fresh!
MISSION: This venue was where, after a 32 year gigging hiatus, ELECTRONIQUE first played in August 2023. Playing 100% original music at that gig, around 40 cover versions have been added to the set list, since then, ensuring that there is something in this for everyone that likes authentic, classic 1980s music. So let's get nostalgic together!
