About this Event
Featuring guest speaker Dr. Tim Bono, Washington University professor and author of Happiness 101
"For so many of us, our brains are constantly on overdrive, overstimulated by the demands of our daily lives, text messages, emails, and alerts popping up on our phones.
What makes Dr. Wagner‘s event so wonderful is that it provides an opportunity to unplug from all of that and reflect deeply and meaningfully on what is actually important and what brings us a sense of purpose and fulfillment. You can look forward to an afternoon of reflection, music, laughter, and connection."
– Dr. Tim Bono, author of Happiness 201: Simple Secrets to Smart Living and Wellbeing, and popular “Science of Happiness” professor at Washington University
Event Description
Join Dr. Tom Wagner and Dr. Tim Bono for an evening of meaningful conversation, soul-soothing music, and delicious appetizers.
Sunday Morning Café is not your typical event. It's a space—curated in cozy St. Louis coffee shops or venues—for adults of all ages to come together, unplug, and connect around the things that matter most: resilience, hope, and what it means to live with intention.
Dr. Tom will open with a short, thought-provoking reflection drawn from his 30+ years as a psychotherapist, resilience researcher, speaker, facilitator, and writer. Then, you’ll be guided into reflection, meditation, and small and large group conversations. Through refreshing authenticity and good humor, you'll explore themes like:
- Strengthening your resilience muscle & managing change
- Stop, drop, and savor: finding joy & beauty in the present
- Building defiant, intentional positivity
- Spirituality, mindfulness & introspection
- Deepening connection in a disconnected world
Come as you are. Leave a little lighter—with actionable tools for personal growth.
This is a casual, welcoming space, whether you come with friends or on your own. You don't need to know anyone or prepare anything. Just show up as you are.
