Do you sometimes feel frayed, frazzled, or fried?Would you like to feel peaceful, grounded, and centered instead?
Then come to our lovely temple nestled amid rolling hills and oak groves and join us for relaxed Sunday meditations. No experience necessary, and beginners are welcome. You don't have to do anything specific, or do it "right"--just come experiment with observing your mind without judgment or anxiety. Take this opportunity to find your missing peace, which is the piece of you that's absolutely authentic, free, and powerful.
Sunburst has been holding these Sunday meditations for decades, and over time they have taken on a life of their own. You'll experience the wonderful support of being with like-minded people who know how you feel in these crazy times and who can show you how to return to a more balanced state in your daily life.
We start our weekly meditation gathering at 10:30 AM with spirit-filled music followed by a short, insightful talk and then a quiet meditation period.
A separate children's program is offered during the quiet part of the service; please call ahead if it's your first time bringing children.
Light refreshments, and an optional guided hike, are offered most weeks after service.
