Sunday Jazz Cafe with Sherry Jazz Ensemble - January Blues

From its origins on Southern plantations, to New Orleans, Memphis, Kansas City and Chicago, the howling cry of the wounded soul found expression in the Blues. On January 18, the Sherry Jazz Ensemble will lead you down the Swanee River with classic tunes like "Billie's Bounce", "Blue Monk", "Bags' Groove", "Straight, No Chaser", "Blues Walk", and "Watermelon Man", from artists such as John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, Lee Morgan, Lou Donaldson and Miles Davis.
