Last year, Jimpster, Craig Smith and Atjazz formed a dream line-up at the now-legendary Deep in the Forest. This year, on the exact anniversary of that unforgettable party, Atjazz returns to celebrate with us by the sea.
Fresh from the release of his huge 27-track album Starbase 17, his collaborative 8 Days project with Fred Everything, Southport Weekender and another run of major shows across South Africa, Martin arrives in incredible form.
Alongside Jullian Gomes and Osunlade, Atjazz has become deeply connected to the soulful, spiritual house movement, while South African audiences have embraced him as one of their own - affectionately calling him "Themba," meaning hope.
At Hot Rocks he'll be playing alongside his protégé South Beach Recycling, with support from the legendary Bump 'N' Hustle team: Bob Povey and Jon Coomer.
