Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006), directed by Carlos Saldanha, is the sequel to the animated hit Ice Age. The story follows Manny the mammoth, Sid the sloth, and Diego the saber-toothed tiger as they discover that their icy home is melting due to rising temperatures. This threatens to flood their valley, forcing the herd to embark on a journey to safety. Along the way, Manny grapples with the possibility that he might be the last mammoth, only to meet Ellie, a spirited mammoth who believes she’s a possum. The film balances humor, heart, and action, continuing the franchise’s family-friendly appeal.
