Sunday Funday: A Free Back-to-School Day

Sunday Funday is a free back-to-school celebration created for Bensonhurst families and hosted by Good Neighbor Initiative and Ordinary People Cafe.

Bring the kids for a relaxed morning of creativity, community, and fun before the school year begins.

CHOOSE YOUR ONE-HOUR SESSION

When registering, select one of these hour slots:

• 10:00–11:00 AM

• 11:00 AM–12:00 PM

• 12:00–1:00 PM

Each session is limited to 12 family pre-registrations and 3 family walk-ins.

Please reserve one ticket per family and arrive near the beginning of your selected session.

If you are unable or if the spots fill up, come at 1PM and we will have goodie bags for your family!

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Design-your-own mug activity (for the first 50 children)

• Arts and crafts and kid-friendly activities

• Back-to-school goodie bags

• Snacks for children

• Coffee for adults

• Time to meet and connect with neighbors

• A brief back-to-school encouragement and prayer

WHO IT’S FOR

Children in Pre-K through 5th grade, with siblings welcome.

PLEASE KNOW

• A parent or guardian must remain with children for the entire session. This is not a drop-off program.

• Mugs, goodie bags, and activity supplies are available while supplies last.
