Welcome to Sunday Dances and Happy Summer Party,
on 28th June we stay open for extra long celebration of life, summer and dancing together.
at 3pm Mathilde Mensink will guide us through somatic landscapes, attuning to ground, fluids, touch and space - inviting sensing and softness into the dance
taking us into the jam
🎸 Alice Rose is live, creating soundscapes and poetry on harp, violin and vocals
🌈 After 6pm, open floor and shared dinner outside, and why not, bring a pretty dress and disco playlist (-:
Bring nice food to share
!! Forsøgsstationen will close for the holidays, and our next 5 Sundays will be exploring new locations, stay tuned !
PROGRAM 28th June
15 class/warm-up, w Mathilde
16.30 open floor JAM
18ish slow down to closing circle, or keep dancin'
18ish-21ish Happy Summer Party, shared dinner outside and open floor
!! ♥️ Kindly be on time, front door only open 14.50-15.05 and 16.30-16.40
If you arrive after kl 18, check w friend to let you in, or ring bell
Everyone ready to move and dance are welcome 🌿
PRACTICAL:
Address is Sønder Boulevard 81, Vesterbro
- use our changing rooms for changing + for shoes, coats, bags
- free for members of Forsøgsstationen
- general contribution 50-100 kr, cash or mobile pay #24339
The Dance
- we love to begin together, tuning in and warming up, be ready at 3pm on the floor
- later arrival, enter studio for jam at 4.30-4.40pm, kindly not before, not after
- wear comfortable and clean clothes, long pants, long sleeves
- knee pads recommended.
- nice to bring additional dry clothes for warm down and bodywork
Guidelines
- kindly, our dance floor is talk-free, keep spoken conversation to a quiet minimum during dance sessions
- kindly, don't use your phone inside the dance studio
Health
- be considerate, stay at home if not feeling well
- kindly, wash hands, be clean, before entering studio
- kindly, avoid perfume, be careful w jewellery, belts etc
