Join us on Sunday, July 12th at 10:30 am as we welcome back the delightful guest speaker Rev. Danny Spears! This Sunday Rev. Danny brings us a message on being "Wound Too Tight" and what we can do about it. This service we are blessed with Christine Mariani bringing her inspired musical selection to accompany this powerful message.
Most of us have heard the expression: "That person is wound too tight." Normally it refers to someone who appears to take everything far too seriously, even when the situation calls for a lighter touch.
This state of mind is nothing new. And let's face it, given much of what is manifesting in our world today, who isn't wound a little too tight? So, what can we do to loosen up a bit, while remaining rooted in our Unity principles? We'll discuss this and more on Sunday!
About Rev. Danny Spears:
Rev. Danny is a spiritual traveler who is blessed to be nourished by a variety of expressions of Christianity. First ordained as a minister in Metropolitan Community Churches in 2001, he was ordained as a Unity minister in 2024, and after 4 years as first the Spiritual Leader, then minister of Unity of Gainesville, Georgia, Rev. Danny now self-identifies as a “free range Unity minister.”
In May of this year, Rev. Danny transitioned from snowbird to flamingo, as he and his 17 year-old “kitten” Dylan made the move from Georgia to St. Petersburg. Now in what some call the “fifth season of life,” Rev. Danny is looking forward to what this stage of his life journey has to teach him.
