THE WORKSHOP - Boogie Woogie Taster
Curious about the difference between Lindy Hop and Boogie Woogie? During this energetic taster, we’ll introduce you to the fundamentals of Boogie Woogie and help you feel the difference in your body and your dancing.
We’ll focus on:
• The typical basic steps
• The difference in technique and feel compared to Lindy Hop
• Dancing to characteristic Boogie Woogie music
Boogie Woogie is tight, rhythmic and playful, with a clear bounce and energetic footwork.
Perfect for Lindy Hoppers who want to expand their swing horizon and try something new on the social floor.
THE LOCATION
This trendy brewery sits right on the water and offers up locally made beers and fresh food. Best of all, it has a wooden floor just right for dancing!
