Are you ready to create something beautiful and cozy? Whether you're a seasoned crocheter or have just completed our beginners session this workshop is perfect for you!
In this fun and hands-on session, you'll learn how to make Sunburst granny squares – the building blocks of countless crochet projects. From colourful blankets to stylish cardigans and jumpers the possibilities are endless!
The sunburst granny square uses a magic circle, chain and uk treble crochet stitches. You’ll also learn how to change colours. You can change colours every row, or every few rows, to create a colourful and unique project. Once you have mastered the technique you will then be able to turn your squares into a blanket, cardigan, jumper, bag etc!
The workshop includes no materials you are encouraged to choose your own selection of 4 colours for your project just make sure you have the correct size hook to go with your yarn, we do stock a small amount of Stylecraft Double Knit yarn which will be available to purchase at the workshop if needed.
You will not go home with a finished item so recommend you book onto a crochet social alongside this, to enable you to complete this project.
