🪓🪵🌳 Wetland Warriors - Sun Valley Wetland Hack 🌳🪵🪓
Join the Wetland Warriors of Silvermine Academy, South African National Biodiversity Institute and SANParks - Table Mountain National Park in their conservation work on Saturday, 20th June. Participants will be shown how to tackle the alien invasive vegetation that currently line the slopes leading to the wetland area, and help to restore this space by allowing locally indigenous species to grow and release much of the underground water that is currently being held in the trees (such as the Port Jackson and the blue gum species). Please could participants bring their own equipment (saws, pruners and axes). There will be boerewors rolls and cooldrinks on sale for the hungry helpers🌭
