Sun Salutations by Candlelight with LIVE Music & Sound Bath Yoga Nidra
Join us for a truly transformative practice.
This unforgettable afternoon is a collaboration with True North Yoga, Strength with Ease (Yoga Studio Gawler), and Jack Crawford Music, crafted to facilitate deep release and renewed vibrancy.
Your experience will begin with the practice of 108 Surya Namaskar (sun salutations), traditionally practiced at times of transition to cultivate transformative tapas (dedication, fiery discipline, 'to burn'), releasing things that no longer serve, deeply cleansing, and setting the seeds of intention, emerging refreshed and renewed.
You don't need to do the full 108! During the practice, you'll be skilfully guided by Tanya from True North Yoga and Trish from Strength with Ease, with options to follow the full 108 Surya Namaskar or take it at slower pace, and pausing regularly in the practice with the option to sit and meditate for a few rounds or the remainder of the practice. This is your practice, your way, all the while being bathed in soothing LIVE acoustic guitar and vocals by Jack Crawford to create a physical and auditory journey of transformation.
Following your beautiful efforts, sink deeply into a Sound Bath Yoga Nidra where the harmonious sounds of crystal singing bowls, carefully curated therapeutic sounds, and intertwined guitar and vocal harmonies will envelop you in a cocoon of tranquillity for further deep release, rest, and renewal.
Lastly, we'll share soothing chai and kitchari to nourish our body and soul following our practice and enjoy time in community and connection.
