sun-drunk is a pamphlet about summer, its jobs/kisses/wanders; of queer joy, performance/protest,poems warm-hot-fruity-and/or-sultry. But it's also about every emotion which whirs under the sun –
when it gets colder, say, the brightness in winter months. Some of these poems were made for stage,
some for screen(s), and others for these very pages.
sun-drunk is a pamphlet of poems that are meant to be read out loud, of summer jobs/kisses/wanders,
for performance/protest, warm-hot-fruity-and/or-sultry. These are poems drunk not just on the sun,
but every emotion which whirs underneath its glow – when it gets colder, say, the bright light of
winter months. That's included too. Some of these poems were commissioned for stage, some for
screen(s), and others have never appeared before.
