Hashtronaut

Four-piece stoner doom innovators Hashtronaut launched into orbit from their
Denver-based Mission Control in the summer of 2020, fueled by inspiration from a hazy string of jam sessions during the darkest days of the pandemic. Seizing the opportunity to play live the minute they could, it only took a few gigs before they’d solidified their reputation as trailblazers in the scene, and the rest was history.
With a distinct sonic identity that channels classics from Black Sabbath and Thin Lizzy to mainstays of the modern canon like Windhand and High On Fire — as well as their own collective love of the sweetest leaf of all, vintage gear, and walls of speaker cabinets — Hashtronaut’s galactic tones have spread to the farthest corners of the universe, earning them a diverse and growing fanbase both on and off this planet in short time.
Keeping momentum at an all time high after releasing an EP and sharing the stage with legends like Pallbearer, High On Fire, and Bongzilla, Hashtronaut are preparing for their biggest year yet. With that said, their first LP, “No Return”, was released on 3/22/24 to high acclaim, hitting #3 on Doom Charts. As well, a slew of tour and festival dates are planned for the imminent future. There’s never been a better time to experience Hashtronaut’s colossal riffs and driving rhythms in the flesh, and get immersed into an intoxicating and pummeling journey through time and space.

Worshipper

Whatever frame you want to give it, Worshipper’s story is one of growth. What started four years ago with a couple digital singles has blossomed -- yes, blossomed -- into an expansive and individualized sound that’s like nothing else in heavy rock and roll. With patient and graceful songwriting, and thoughtful, detailed arrangements, the Boston-based four-piece bring something new to the hordes of those building altars to the capital ‘r’ Riff. Their second album, Light in the Wire, presents a progressive vision that’s not just about “oh hey we threw a keyboard on some guitar,” but instead bleeds into every melody, every smoothly-delivered rhythmic change, and every performance captured on the recording.

Worshipper’s first album, Shadow Hymns, came out in 2016 on Tee Pee, and they followed it with the 2017 covers EP Mirage Daze, a four-song jaunt exploring influences like Pink Floyd, The Who, Uriah Heep and doom rockers The Oath. That release gave new context to Shadow Hymns, and it informs Light in the Wire as well, though with the new LP, Worshipper are most recognizable as themselves.

Worshipper recorded Light in the Wire with Chris Johnson (also of Deafheaven, Summoner, etc.) at GodCity Studios and The Electric Bunker. Their intention to capture a sonic narrative has resulted in a fluidity tying the two sides
of the album together even as individual pieces stand out with a sheen of classic heavy metal, rock, psychedelia and prog. At the center, always, is the crafting of the songs themselves, so that each verse isn’t simply a placeholder for the next hook, but a statement unto itself, and each solo drips soul rather than devolving into a needless showcase of wankery.

Light in the Wire not only sees Worshipper grow as songwriters and performers, but it expands the palette they’re working with to do that. A stage-born chemistry pervades their musical conversation, but even more, the confidence with which they take on darkness and light, weight and drift, brings into focus how faithworthy their sound has become. They may push farther still, but hearing Light in the Wire leaves no question of their realization.

WORSHIPPER, was awarded in 2015 and 2016 "Metal Artist of the Year" at the Boston Music Awards.

What People are Saying:
"Worshipper traffic in the kind of classically-oriented capital-h Heavy Metal that delivers hooks as directly and effectively as possible. Equal parts Thin Lizzy and Iron Maiden, and with a sugar-sweet approach to harmony (both of guitar and vocals), this ends up as some of the catchiest metal being made today, veritable ear candy for us headbangers… Psychedelia mingles with doom, NWOBHM and classic rock seamlessly to make something that essentially denies the difference between heavy metal and rock ‘n’ roll. It’s some of my favorite music of the year." - Rob Sperry-Fromm, BrooklynVegan.com

"The simple fact of the matter is that bands like Worshipper don’t just happen every day… Worshipper have not only clicked, but they’ve clicked on their first record, and they’ve clicked in such a way that the Tee Pee delivered 'Shadow Hymns' has felt destined to be on the best debuts of 2016 list since before it actually came out." - JJ Koczan, TheObelisk.net

"… the band straddle doom and traditional heavy metal, proving that you can be crushingly heavy and soar into the melodic stratosphere without sounding clichéd or overly nostalgic for nostalgia's sake."
- Louise Brown, Iron Fist

“Musically, with this being somewhere between Black Sabbath (Dio era in particular), Monster Magnet and anything from Witchfinder General to Angel Witch I feel that there is something for most metal fans to enjoy here." - Richard Maw, Sludgelord

Foehammer

A specter looms over the ever expanding suburbs of Washington, DC. A fetid, lumbering, lurching beast throws its shadow across the unending sprawl. That specter is Foehammer. Formed in 2013 as a three piece, Foehammer has in recent years coalesced as a duo, and with that metamorphosis has sloughed its way into new musical territory. Whereas the self-titled e.p. and Second Sight were comprised of inexorably creeping funeral doom epics, Monumentum brings in new sounds and tempos. Fans of Corrupted’s dirge will undoubtedly still love Monumentum, but fans of Cianide’s deathly doom, the sludgy filth of early Thou, and the transcendental leanings of mid-90’s Neurosis will also find much to enjoy.

Foehammer has toured the East Coast, South, and Midwest, and shared the stage with the likes of Bell Witch, Bongzilla, Fister, Horrendous, HUSH., Ilsa, Mortiferum, Outer Heaven, Primitive Man, Rezn, Sea of Bones, Thou, Unearthly Trance, Usnea, Weedeater, Yatra, and more.

W**d Coughin

Stoner metal with a groove. Occasional yells/screams top the music but typically it’s just tight jams between just right distorted guitars with insanely good tone, bass with lots of attack and drums that charge into interesting and thoughtful fills. Sabbath covers are among the fun that puts this group into a band you’ll make sure to see again and again
