Sumter's First Moon Party is a way to celebrate the start of menstruation for young girls. This fun and educational experience, will provide a safe space for girls to talk about their bodies and emotions. Young girls are introduced to life with a menstrual cycle via medical professionals, school officials, and community members. They will share their knowledge and expertise on the aspects of how to manage and cope when the momentous day comes. This event is designed for girls ages 9-14. Lunch will be served.
