WIC WEEK 2026 JOB SITE TOUR

Summit Reworks is welcoming Akron NAWIC to tour the new collection center and administration building on Friday, March 5 at 2:00pm. ReWorks is the solid waste management authority for Summit County. Their official name is The Summit Akron Solid Waste Management Authority. However, in effort to better deliver on their mission while building awareness of their vision, they began doing business as ReWorks in February 2013. ReWorks provides solutions and leadership to empower our community, institutions, and businesses to develop and utilize environmentally sound, cost-effective recycling and waste management strategies.

Please bring your PPE - Hard hat, safety boots, hi viz and glasses. Limited PPE will be available. The group will meet at the new collection center and will walk the site to the new administration building, where we will also view the old collection facilities. Parking information and any updates will be provided closer to the date.
