We are excited to invite our youth to this year’s Summer Retreat, “Waves of Mercy, Waves of Grace,” a powerful and refreshing few days at the beach designed for students to grow in their relationship with the Lord, build lasting friendships, and step away from the noise of everyday life.Our heart for this retreat is simple: to create space for students to encounter the Lord and be reminded that His mercy and grace never stop reaching us.
Our theme is rooted in Lamentations 3:22-23 —
“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”
Just like the waves of the ocean never stop rolling onto the shore, God’s grace and mercy never stop reaching us. No matter what this past year has looked like—whether full of victories or struggles—this retreat is an opportunity for students to experience the truth that God’s mercy is new, personal, and available every single day.
Invitation: Calling all 6th–12th grade students! Whether you attend Calvary Chapel Clayton, another church, or don’t currently have a church home—you are more than welcome to join us. Invite your friends and come be part of what God is going to do!
Dates: July 29 – August 1, 2026
Location: Camp Emmanuel- 245 Williams Dr, K*ll Devil Hills, NC 27948
Cost: $225 per student; This cost includes lodging, meals, shirt, activities, games, supplies, and retreat materials.
Registration will be open from June 7-July 19, 2026.
Throughout the retreat, students will:
- Spend intentional time in worship and Bible teaching
- Be encouraged through small groups and meaningful conversations
- Enjoy fun beach activities, games, and free time
- Participate in powerful moments like sunrise devotionals and evening gatherings
- Be reminded that God’s mercy is new and His grace is sufficient
Our heart is that every student would leave this retreat:

- Encouraged in their faith

- Confident in God’s mercy and grace over their life
