** Workshop-info**
Workshop 1: 'Love Story' choreo deel 1: Fanveil-intro (optioneel, het begin van de dans kan ook zonder fanveils/props gedanst worden!), zwaard-dance basics (éénhandige technieken) en draaiiingen met koreaans zwaard.
Workshop 2: 'Love Story' choreo deel 2: Dubbel zwaard basics en lyrical combis, draaiingen met twee zwaarden en.. choreo-finale!
De workshops zijn apart boekbaar, maar samen is leuker ;-)

Niks zo leuk als een workshopdag afsluiten met een cosy, glittery hafla met Khalida. Meld je gerust aan om mee te dansen/te komen kijken.
**Dansniveau**
Deze workshop-dag is geschikt voor alle niveaus vanaf beginner +, ook als je nog geen fanveils, zwaard(en) en/of zwaard-dans ervaring hebt. 'Stok-zwaarden' + enkele fanveil sets hebben we te leen op aanvraag!

Learn Khalida's latest fanveil and sword dance choreography to the lyrical 'Love Story' by Indilah. It will be a poetic, emotional journey between belly dance and martial arts with Khalida - are you up for the challenge? :)
**Workshopinfo**
Workshop 1: 'Love Story' choreo part 1: Fanveil intro (optional, the beginning of the dance can also be danced without fanveils/props!), sword-dance basics (one-handed techniques) and turns with a Korean sword.
Workshop 2: 'Love Story' choreo part 2: Double sword basics and lyrical combinations, turns with two swords and... choreo finale!
The workshops can be booked separately, but it is more fun to book them together ;-)
**Hafla-info**
There's nothing more fun than ending a workshop day with a cozy, glittery hafla with Khalida. Feel free to dance in/watch the hafla.
**Dance level**
This workshop day is suitable for all levels from beginner +, even if you have no fanveils, sword(s) and/or sword-dance experience yet. We can borrow 'stick swords' + some fanveil sets on request!

**Who is Khalida?**
Although Khalida does not need an introduction because she is an omnipresent being and renowned dancer, we do like refreshing your memory just for fun.
Khalida (meaning ‘eternal’ in Arabic) is a multi-award winning belly dance performer, online teacher and martial artist, born in Belgium, based in Germany since 2003.
In her classes and perfomances she draws inspiration from 20+ years of experience in belly dance; as well as from ballet, contemporary dance and her ongoing studies in various Martial Arts (Shaolin & Wudang-Style Kung Fu, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Taekwondo and Haidong Gumdo (Korean Sword Art & Sword Dance).
