Join us for a Family Swim this summer on Monday through Thursday from 12:15-1:15 p.m. through the end of July! Open to the public. All are welcome!

Whether you want to help your children practice their swimming skills or your family needs some bonding time, a Family Swim is a great way to spend an afternoon!

Cost: Week day family swims are FREE for currently enrolled members and $5/swimmer for non-members (paid at the door). Please make sure you RSVP for all swimmers in your group!

Benefits of Goldfish Swim School Family Swim:

• Teach your child about water safety & introduce him or her to the water
• Relax in our warm pool while your swimmer shows you his or her skills
• You can determine if your child would benefit from swim lessons
• Spending time in the pool together is a great way to get energy out
• Your child will feel more comfortable with you in the water

Please Note: For safety purposes, swim tests are required for children who wish to swim independently. We require at least one adult to be in the water with each child who cannot swim independently during the open swim.

SWIM TEST REQUIRED:

• Our pool is 4'2'' deep. All children that cannot touch with their head above water will be required to pass a swim test at the start of open swim.
• In order to pass a swim test, the child must swim 25 feet across the width of the pool head above water without struggle; Ellis Certified Lifeguard will make final determination.
• Lifejackets or puddle jumpers that fasten around the center are required for all children that do not pass. Coast guard approved life jackets are available at the facility.
• We do not allow single arm floaties that do not buckle around the chest for additional support.
• If a guardian chooses to accompany the child in the pool 100% of the time, they may remove floatation and practice swim skills with a guardian.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Only proper swim attire is permitted in the pool; no street clothes are permitted.
• Note that reusable swim diapers are required for little ones who are not potty trained (we have these available for sale in our facility!)
• Parent or guardian is required to stay on site while children are swimming
• A signed waiver must be completed for all swimmers prior to swimming
