Summer Topics with Father Pat: Four Popular Spiritual Writers
I have noted a growing desire in many parishioners to deepen their faith and devotions. Throughout the late summer I will offer four sessions, each offering a brief overview of one notable Catholic spirituality writer. Some of these names will be familiar, but you may not know much about them, or how to go about approaching their books. I will give a brief review of their lives and offer brief comments on their more well known books. These are not necessarily “how to pray” books but they share a deeper spirituality. Each session will last about an hour, and we will meet in Room 6 downstairs in the Parish Hall. I hope you will find these sessions helpful and interesting.
