After the sold-out success of their Summer, Winter and Spring Tablao series, Santa Fe’s favorite flamenco family returns with an exciting new season. Internationally celebrated husband-and-wife duo Mina Fajardo, born in Japan, and Chuscales, born in Granada, Spain, present Summer Tablao Flamenco Wednesdays – Flamenco Paraguas 2026, performing every Wednesday from June through August 2026 at Teatro Paraguas.

Beloved as one of the most popular flamenco groups in Santa Fe, their previous Tablao performances consistently sold out, filling the intimate theater with loyal audiences and newcomers alike. This summer residency continues that momentum, inviting the community back into the passionate world of authentic flamenco.

Step into the world of real flamenco — where the guitar sings, the dancer’s feet thunder, and the emotion reaches straight to your heart. Performed in the intimate setting of Teatro Paraguas, this authentic tablao experience places you just a few feet away from the artists, allowing you to feel every stomp, breath, and strum up close.

At the heart of the evening is master guitarist and Musical Director Chuscales, whose playing carries the spirit of the legendary Sacromonte caves of Granada in every note. Artistic Director Mina Fajardo — dancer, singer, and percussionist — ignites the stage with fiery footwork, commanding presence, and a deep emotional connection to flamenco tradition.

Each Wednesday performance features passionate flamenco dance, soulful cante jondo (deep song), breathtaking guitar solos, romantic duets, ensemble choreography, and spontaneous moments of improvisation — making every show a unique and unforgettable experience. Joining them are outstanding guest and company artists including Monze Díaz (Dancer), and Mina Fajardo’s Teatro Paraguas Company Dancers. Santa Fe has shared a deep Spanish cultural connection since the 1600s, and today Flamenco Paraguas proudly continues that tradition — blending Andalusian flamenco with New Mexico’s vibrant creative spirit. This summer, audiences are invited to make Wednesday nights a weekly celebration of rhythm, artistry, and community.
