CAMP DESCRIPTION:
This Youth Camp is for ages 9-13
Dates: 7/9-7/10 Times: 1:00pm-4:00pm Cost $80 Lab Fee: $40
This camp covers the basics of Sphero Bolt Robots, writing code from scratch to text Javascript based language and computational thinking like a programmer. You will do several fun projects using lights, sound and motion sensing on Sphero Robots such as battlebots and obstacle courses! If you’ve wondered about what goes on inside your computer or wanted to dive into “real” programming, this is for you! Students will take home a sphero mini to continue coding.
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE: Class is supported in part by Tacoma Creates with scholarships available for residents of the City of Tacoma! Please submit a scholarship application here and contact us for assistance.
