We’re living in a moment where artificial intelligence is becoming widely accessible. The real opportunity is learning how to use these tools responsibly, practically, and in ways that genuinely improve our work, our businesses, and the impact we have on our communities.

Build Exchange is a community-based builders initiative focused on practical, human-centered AI and real-world creation, now partnering with Tacoma Connect to host a monthly, in-person gathering for learning, collaboration, and building together.

This gathering is designed for entrepreneurs, professionals, creatives, and the AI-curious who are interested in learning by doing, sharing knowledge, and building alongside others in a supportive, in-person environment.

What to Expect

Each Build Exchange session follows a simple, intentional flow:

Whole Group Opening
We begin together with a short talk, shared conversation, and a guest spotlight focused on practical use cases, lessons learned, or thoughtful perspectives on building with AI.

Guided Build Time
After the opening, the space opens up into guided build time. Participants are encouraged to:

• Work on their own ideas, projects, or challenges
• Explore AI tools at their own comfort level
• Ask questions, share insights, or observe and learn

Participation is flexible. You’re welcome to engage deeply, move at your own pace, or simply listen and observe.

No prior AI experience is required. Curiosity and openness are enough.
