MORE INFO
Join us for this informative session, Summer Sowing for Winter Vegetable Growing, with Nadia Russell from the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. Now is the ideal time to prepare for growing vegetables over the winter months. In this session we will learn how to increase the productivity of our plots by growing crops year-round.
This workshop is aimed at anyone growing their own crops into the autumn and winter. You do not need your own plot in the community garden to join this event. The session is suitable for adults rather than children.
HOW TO BOOK
Spaces are limited. Please inform us if you are unable to come after reserving a ticket so we can give it to someone else.
ACCESS
Woodlands Community Garden is partially wheelchair accessible; we are currently working on a Garden Accessibility Project with Woodlands Community Accessibility Steering Group to make our Garden more inclusive.
There is no bathroom in the Community Garden. However, during the workshop access to a wheelchair accessible, gender-neutral toilet is made available. The toilet is located approximately 100 metres away in the Woodlands Community Meeting Room at 66 Ashley St, G3 6HW. More access info:
