Summer Solstice Witches' Herbal Walk

Celebrate the Summer Solstice by walking a secret location in Salem and learn how to identify the witching herbs growing all around us. At the end of the walk, we will create flower crowns with herbs and flowers wildcrafted along the way, and learn about the various Summer Solstice traditions.

You will learn:

• Summer Solstice rituals and customs
• How to identify various herbs growing all around us in Salem
• New England folk magick and historical uses of the herbs used in witchcraft
• How to ethically wildcraft herbs for use in spiritual practices
• Medicinal properties of the herbs we meet along the way
• Planetary correspondences of various herbs and how to apply them in your practice

This walk is limited to 10 people and is approximately 1 mile long with some inclines. Proper clothing for the temperature and hiking should be worn.

About the instructor: Kris Gurky is a natural intuitive and magickal herbal practitioner with Lithuanian and Celtic roots. She teaches herbalism, tarot, and intuitive development workshops worldwide. She is the proprietress of Dark Moon & Co., and creatrix of the Witch City Tarot Gathering. Kris earned an M.B.A. at Boston University, an M.S. in Herbal Medicine at the American College of Healthcare Sciences in Portland Oregon, and completed an herbalism apprenticeship at the Boston School of Herbal Studies.
