Summer Solstice Sound / Gong Bath @ The Guildhall

Returning for the third year in a row, this is an event not to be missed.

Let the soothing sounds wash over you as we come together to celebrate the upcoming longest day of the year. Set within the tranquil surroundings of Priory Park, The Guildhall offers a truly serene and special setting, one that people travel from near and far to experience.

The Summer Solstice is the perfect time to leave behind what no longer serves you, to release old habits, and to refocus on what lies ahead. You may wish to set intentions or goals for the months to come and there’s no better time to begin than now.

Don’t worry if you haven’t experienced a sound / gong bath before—this is a beautiful place to start, and such an incredible venue to do so. Simply make yourself comfortable on the floor or on a chair, and allow yourself to fully relax while we take care of the rest. ✨

Wear comfortable clothes and you may like to bring the following:

• A yoga mat or something soft to lie on
• A blanket for warmth and comfort
• A pillow or cushion for your head
• An eye mask (optional, for deeper relaxation)
• Water to stay hydrated

Due to the nature of the building, the stone floor is very hard and may be dusty so please bear that in mind and you may wish to bring extra blankets.

Please note - Whilst Sound Baths / Gong baths are suitable for most, it is not advised in the following situations:

• 1st trimester of pregnancy
• Anyone with a pacemaker
• Unsupported serious mental health condition
• Sound induced epilepsy

Please also inform us of any of the following:

• Metal implants
• Tinnitus
• Severe illness
• Recent surgery

If you would prefer to sit, chairs are available.

Photographs: Occassionally we may capture photographs for promotional purposes. This would usually be from a distance and any close up photography would be discussed with you beforehand. Please let us know if you'd rather not be in any promotional material.
