Come join us for a cool, shady 5-mile forest hike and then a lavender field escape for photos and good vibes. Bonus: weβll be celebrating the Summer Solstice β the longest day of the year! ππ Bring your hiking shoes, your best trail energy, and letβs make a day of it! ππ

Hike: Conway Robinson State Forest (mostly shaded)

π₯Ύ ~5 miles | Start hiking ~9:00 AM.
π² Wooded trails with lots of shade.
πͺ¨ Trail note: some sections can be rocky/uneven with roots, so watch your footing and wear sturdy shoes.
π§Ί Picnic tables available if anyone wants to bring lunch/snacks.
π«π» No bathrooms on site β please plan accordingly before arrival.
β No pass needed for hiking (free access/parking).
Planned Route β ~5 Mile Shaded Loop:
β’ Start from the main parking lot trailhead.
β’ Follow the Blue Trail heading into the woods.
β’ Continue until we reach interior forest connector paths.
β’ Take the interior woodland loops (most shaded sections).
β’ Loop through the wooded trail network at a relaxed group pace.
β’ Reconnect back to the Blue Trail.
β’ Follow Blue Trail back to the parking lot to finish.
Distance will be approximately 4.8β5.2 miles depending on connector choices.
Optional Longer Mileage:
For those wanting extra miles, we can add an extended loop using additional interior connectors and portions of the outer perimeter trails for a total of ~6β8 miles. Note: the perimeter sections have a bit more sun exposure, but still mostly wooded.
