At the height of the summer, when light and life are at their fullest, we gather to honour the radiance within and around us.
The Summer Solstice invites us to celebrate vitality, joy, and gratitude, to open our hearts to abundance and give thanks for all that has grown and flourished in our lives.
Together we will share in:
~ HAVAN FIRE CEREMONY
Havan is a Vedic fire ceremony where offerings of herbs and sacred substances are made into the fire accompanied by mantra, symbolising the release of the old and a prayerful invocation of light. It is a ritual of purification, intention, gratitude and renewal. As we give to the fire, we invite clarity, light, and purpose to guide the season ahead.
~ KIRTAN & MANTRA CHANTING
No experience or singing ability required! Kirtan is the practice of singing sacred sound—mantras that bring us into meditative presence, inner joy, and heart connection. It is not about performance, but participation. We will begin with the chanting of a specific Sanskrit mantra repeated 108 times while making offerings to the fire, followed by live music and group kirtan.
~ CEREMONIAL CACAO
We will share a warm cup of ceremonial cacao, a gentle plant medicine that supports heart-opening, deep presence, and connection. Used as an amplifier in meditation and devotional practice, cacao invites us into a space of inner sweetness.
~ WHO IS THIS FOR?
Everyone is welcome—regardless of age, background, or belief system. This is an open community event, inclusive and heart-centered.
~ WHAT TO BRING
If you play an instrument and would like to support the music, please come 15 minutes early to tune in with us. Otherwise, simply bring yourself, an open heart & mind.
