Litha Celebration (or Midsummer) is a pagan holiday and one of eight sabbats in the Wheel of the Year, celebrating the summer solstice on or around June 21 in the Northern Hemisphere. It honors the longest day of the year, representing the peak of the sun's power, nature's abundance, and the beginning of summer.

Key details about Litha:

Significance: It signifies the pinnacle of the sun's strength, vitality, and the triumph of light over darkness. It is also seen as a turning point where the sun begins its gradual descent into shorter days.

Traditions & Rituals: Common celebrations include building bonfires (to honor the sun and for protection), holding feasts, crafting flower crowns, and conducting rituals for prosperity.

Themes: Key themes include strength, success, abundance, and gratitude for the natural world.

Modern Observance: Many practitioners use this time for personal reflection, outdoor activities, and connecting with nature.

Common symbols and associations for the day include the sun, fire, herbs like lavender and chamomile, and flowers like sunflowers.
