Every year, we come together at MoY for this auspicious date, when the sun's power is at its peak and we can celebrate vitality, warmth & abundance. Much like previous years, we do this by performing 108 rounds of devotional sun salutations. There are variations to suit all levels, so if you think 108 full sun salutations is too much for you, there are options!The sun salutations are accompanied by live healing sounds performed by The Mind Space (our very own yoga student Daz) and followed by a restorative sound bath with Susy to bring balance back to our minds and bodies.
This is a wonderful experience that brings about a meditative state when connection to your breath, body, others taking part and the energy in the room deepens. It is a powerful way to honour the turning of the seasons and welcome in the energy of summer.
