Join us to celebrate the Summer Solstice and honor Manannán mac Lir at Comfest.
In this ritual, we'll take part in the custom of 'paying the rents' to Manannán. Mac Lir is the traditional king and protector of the Isle of Man, and for his protection of the island he asks only a yearly payment of rushes at Midsummer. Though we're far away from the Isle of Man, we'll offer his rushes and ask for his protection on our community here in Ohio.
This is the most informal of all of our High Day rites, and a great place to come out and see what we're all about.
