The Spring Swing Social Popup events were so much fun that I'm doing it again!The Summer Soirée Swing Social Popup is hosted by me, Mary Awesomesauce (aka Mary Ruthven) and helpers.
We'll return to the Multicultural Hub in Moonah (aka Multicultural Council of Tasmania) for a lovely vibe, beautiful wooden floor, and lots of free close parking.
You'll dance to Hobart's hottest DJ's – Kate Tanner, Simon Chadwick and Tim Grimsey.
Show your support by buying your ticket early!
Can you please do these four things:
1. Put the event in your diary now!
2. Buy your ticket asap. If you’re unwell on the day, let me know and I’ll provide a refund.
3. RSVP: If you're able to go, hit "Going" or “Interested” (so you receive event updates) and add an enthusiastic comment in the event discussion. Unable to go? … please DON'T comment in the event discussion (it may discourage others from attending);
4. Share this event with friends that would enjoy this event and/or want to try swing dancing.
Floor: beautiful, polished floorboards. I recommend bringing a few shoe options.
Dress code: casual but feel free to dress vintage/dressy.
Drinks: please byo water bottle. This is a dry event.
Cost: $12.50 (plus booking fee) for 2.5 hours of social dancing.
Payment: Please buy your tickets before the event, online via Humanitix: https://events.humanitix.com/summer-soiree-swing-social-popup-15-feb-2026. There will be no door sales or cash sales so please don't turn up to the venue without a booking. Refunds provided if you are unwell or unforeseen circumstances prevent you from attending.
