Summer Sewing: Giant Food Plushie(Ages 8-12)

Welcome to Summer Sewing!

Take on the world of sewing with instructor Amanda in our downtown Bakersfield studio.

In this 3 day camp we will be focusing on creating a giant food plushie!

This is an ALL LEVELS camp. (All levels means this is a great class for students that are brand new to sewing as well as experienced sewist)

General details:

Project: Giant food plushie
1. Learning how to operate a sewing machine (if they do not already know how)
Students will choose a food they would l IIke to recreate as a GIANT FOOD PLUSHIE.

June 30th-July 2nd

9am-12pm

Ages: 8-12
Class size: 6

Pricing: $200 ($50 deposit is paid on Eventbrite and remaining balance is paid on first day of session. If you are interested in paying the deposit through Zelle, Apple Pay, cash, or check, please reach out separately)

Camp includes:

Use of sewing machines, tools, and fabric

Water and snacks, though we encourage students to bring their own reusable water bottle

Take home multiple projects that are created in class

Other important information:

There are no refunds, but the class can be transferred to another student

In the event that a students gets sick:

They are to stay hone until they feel better

There are no make up dates for class. If a student does not finish their project, the option of booking a private lesson is allowed.

Looking for a full day of camp? Our studiomate Emily of The Playful Space is offering camp throughout the summer as well! Some of our dates line up for families to do a full day of camp with her camp in the AM and mine in the PM. If a family registers for both camps, we will offer a no cost lunch hour between the two camps. All that is required is that the family provides lunch.
