On Thursday, August 20 at 6:00 PM, runners and walkers of all abilities are invited to Wings Flight of Hope in Orchard Park for a fun, community-focused 8K celebrating the best part of summer: warm evenings, great friends, and unforgettable miles.
Whether you're chasing a late-summer PR, training for your next race, or simply looking for a fun night with Buffalo's running community, the Summer Send-Off is the perfect way to wrap up the season.
But the fun doesn't end at the finish line!
Stick around after the race for our Summer Send-Off Celebration featuring live music from Coming In Hot. They'll be rocking the stage with high-energy hits from the '90s and beyond, playing favorites from Weezer, Nirvana, Green Day, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, and more. Grab a bite, hang out with fellow runners, and celebrate one last summer night together.
Even better, a portion of every registration benefits Wings Flight of Hope, supporting its mission of providing free air transportation for individuals with serious medical needs and humanitarian purposes.

Official Summer Send-Off race T-shirt for the first 250 participants or those registered by August 10, whichever comes first
