Join artist Joe Barrow for four relaxed mornings of oil painting where you’ll learn to create a self-portrait from scratch.

We’ll begin with the face’s basic structure—simple anatomy and an easy system to map features and proportions—then explore two different painting approaches. Using a limited palette, you’ll be guided through hands-on demonstrations, practical tips and tricks, and plenty of encouragement so you leave confident working in oils on portraits of yourself and others.

All equipment is provided — just wear old clothes you don’t mind getting messy. Suitable for all levels; some drawing experience is helpful but not essential.
