From Virginia Beach to the Outer Banks, you will feel like slipping from one beach world into another...You'll start in Virginia Beach with the buzz of the boardwalk — hotels lined up along the ocean, joggers out early, surfers checking the waves. As you head south, the city slowly fades behind you.
By the time you arrive in the Outer Banks, the pace has shifted. Virginia Beach feels lively and busy; OBX feels open, breezy, and a little more untouched. It’s not a long trip between the two beaches, but it feels like you’ve traveled somewhere calmer, where the sky seems bigger and the days move slower.
COST: $1,493 pp, based on double occupancy, and includes motorcoach transportation, tour director service, 5 breakfasts, 4 dinners, free time in Virginia Beach, admission to Elizabethan Gardens, touring at Roanoke Island Festival Park and the Elizabeth II Ship, Outback Pony Adventure, free time in downtown Duck, admission to the Wright Brothers Museum, free time in Downtown Manteo, free afternoon beach days in the Outer Banks, 1 nights' lodging in Oceanfront rooms at the Holiday Inn Suites North Beach, 3 nights' lodging in Partial Oceanview rooms at the Hampton Inn & Suites Corolla, all meal and local guide gratuities, and roundtrip luggage service at each hotel.
