Join us on Wednesday, June 25 at 7 PM as two of our sales reps from Penguin Random House talk about their favorite reads for Summer 2025. We'll have light refreshments, some giveaways, and a discount on featured books, too.
About the reps
Emily Crowe built a decades-long career in bookselling, including spending 11 years here at The Odyssey Bookshop, before becoming a district sales manager for Penguin Random House in 2022. When she's not selling Knopf Doubleday titles to amazing independent bookstore around New England and upstate New York, she spends much of her free time reading (natch), traveling, enjoying cocktails, trying new foods, and smashing the patriarchy.
Rachel Cass
Rachel Cass is a former bookseller, having spent over 17 years with Harvard Book Store in Cambridge, MA. In 2023 she switched to the publishing side, becoming a district sales manager for Penguin Random House, selling Random House and Crown titles to western and southern New England. With an education at one of the Seven Sisters and a background in mathematics, she feels that publishing is the perfect place for her true liberal arts roots to flourish.
