We are excited to announce the launch of this year’s Summer Reading Challenge (Read to the Beat!) at Walthamstow Town Square on Saturday 4th July 2026—and we’d love for everyone to get involved!

The challenge is a fantastic way to encourage children and families to stay engaged with reading over the summer holidays. It also brings a real buzz to our libraries, with creative activities, storytelling, and plenty of opportunities for community connection.
