We're excited to partner with Maggie's Be Cafe this summer to offer a fun, language-focused playgroup for families in our community!
Hosted by speech-language pathologists from Early Foundations Speech & Feeding Services, these playgroups are designed to encourage communication, social interaction, and learning through engaging themed activities, books, songs, movement, sensory experiences, crafts, and play!
Activities are geared toward children ages 2–4, but all ages are welcome. Whether your child is talking up a storm, just starting to use words, or anywhere in between, this is a great opportunity to connect with other families, make new friends, and enjoy a fun outing together!
Current Early Foundations families and community families are all welcome to attend. Whether you currently receive services with us or are simply looking for a fun and enriching activity this summer, we'd love to have you join us!
🏖️ August 6 Theme: Beach Day!
We're wrapping up our summer playgroups with a beach-themed adventure full of language-rich fun! Children will enjoy beach-inspired books, songs, movement activities, sensory play, and hands-on experiences designed to encourage communication and social interaction. We'll be building vocabulary related to the beach, ocean, summer fun, and imaginative play while practicing requesting, commenting, taking turns, following directions, and engaging with friends.
From seashells and sand to sunshine and waves, this playgroup is all about celebrating the end of a wonderful summer together. Come ready for a beach day full of play, learning, and connection as we close out our summer series with one last splash of fun!
The playgroup runs from 11:30 AM–12:15 PM and is led by two pediatric speech-language pathologists from Early Foundations.
Come ready to play, connect, and learn. We hope you'll leave with a happy, tired-out kiddo, a coffee in hand, a few new parent friends, and simple language-building ideas you can use at home!
