It's too hot to be outside! So instead, join us in our nice air-conditioned event space for another of our awesome painting competitions! As usual, we'll have two different categories, and you can enter a miniature in one or both. And don't forget, these must be miniatures you have painted within the past year, and haven't entered into one of our painting contests previously! Our two categories for this competition will be..... Kit-Bashed Killers, and Grunt!Kit-Bashed Killers: (We gotta keep it fresh to challenge all you amazing painters out there). For this category, you can enter a single miniature, any size base, from any game or miniature line as long as that miniature has been in some way converted! Whether you want to keep it simple and change out the head and pistol for something more your style, or really go all out and change your base miniature into something unrecognizable, we welcome all conversions!
Grunt: It's easy to get distracted by all the fancy miniatures, the heroes, legends, and gods that often grace the battlefield. But we here at the Nerd Store believe that none of this would be possible if it weren't for the humble grunt, putting their lives on the line! So as thanks for their hard work, it's time to shine the spotlight on the most basic of miniatures! For this category you can submit one miniature painted to the best of your ability from any army, fire squad, or fighting force as long as they are a battleline unit! Not a lieutenant, not a secondary, NOT a hero, just your simple, run of the mill, grunt.
Public voting will begin around 7:30. We look forward to seeing all your amazing entries!
